The Resort Village of Melville Beach would like to advise residents that in order to prevent the spread of 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect residents, staff, contractors and council members; it is taking the following precautions:

ESSENTIAL SERVICES – Essential municipal services remain in place for the duration of this pandemic. Essential services are considered necessary for the health and well-being of the residents and includes; solid waste collection, fire department services as provided by Cowessess First Nation, and policing services as provided for by the RCMP.

PLAYGROUND, BEACH & WASHROOM AREAS – The playground, beach and washroom areas are now open. Please maintaining physical distancing guidelines while using these facilities. Please note the playground area will not be sanitized so you may wish to bring you own hand sanitizer and take necessary precautions.

COUNCIL MEETINGS – All meetings of council will be conducted through virtual technology until further notice. Anyone wishing to attend should contact the Administrator, prior to the meeting, at or 306-730-5799 for connection instructions.

Please continue to follow Public Health Orders and keep our community safe. This includes limiting public and private gatherings to 15 people indoors or 30 people outdoors. As well, physical distancing is as important as ever.
